If your needs are such that you require limited support only on a day to day basis, then the Home Care service may be the right one for you.

As our focus at Amily Homecare is on providing high quality, unrushed care and support - the Home Care service operates by having a Carer be with you to assist you with a variety of tasks as well as having someone to provide companionship support to spend some time with.

We can provide Home Care support for:
Dementia & Alzheimer’s – Elderly Care – Reduced Mobility - Parkinson’s – MS – Brain Injuries – Stroke Recovery – Autism – Learning & Physical Disabilities – Mental Health – Epilepsy – Depression & Anxiety etc.
If you are physically able to and wish to do so, our Care Assistants can take you out and about to go shopping, for some food and drink, to take you on activities of your choice or simply to be in the great outdoors and take in some fresh air and to go for a nice walk somewhere.

Domestic Support
Our Home Carers are able to assist you with a range of domestic chores including cooking, laundry, ironing, vacuuming, changing the bed linen etc. They can also assist you with post, managing your administration if need be, shopping etc.
Meal Preparation
Our Care Assistants can help prepare nutritious meals. Whether hot or cold meals, they can help prepare and cook healthy meals. Trained in Food Hygiene, Fluids & Nutrition - our Carer Assistants can also assist to monitor what you eat and drink.

Personal Care
Assisting with personal care needs can be a sensitive area of work. Our Home Care Assistants are trained and supervised to ensure they provide personal care in a patient, professional, considered and respectful manner. This is to ensure that the dignity of our elderly clients is maintained through the manner of the Carers approach. Personal care can involve assistance with showering, washing, dressing, toileting, shaving, skin, teeth, eyes, feet care as well as other necessary activities.
Medication Support
Detailed medication information makes up a key part of the support planning process. Our Carer Assistants can help you to take medication at the right times. This information will also be recorded for other healthcare professionals to access. Carers can also collect prescriptions from the pharmacy and liaise with health professionals on your behalf if required.
My name is Tracey and I am proud to say that I am the Care Manager at Amily Homecare. I have a variety of skills and knowledge having worked in the care sector for over 25 years in settings including hospitals, care homes and within domiciliary home care. Within my role as Care Manager, I have a true passion for working with individuals to lead a life they deserve whilst remaining in the comfort of their own home.
I have strong beliefs that people should treat others as they would expect to be treated themselves and demonstrate this by expecting a high standard of work and professionalism from my colleagues. As a family run company, we all work really closely together with support being at the heart of what we do and how we work with our carers and clients. At the end of the working day, I like to go home knowing that I have helped make a difference..
