Mental Health, Depression & Anxiety Support

Mental health, depression and anxiety can be daunting and overwhelming challenges to manage on a day to day basis. If you feel you have been affected by any of these issues and could benefit from some at home support, our Personal Assistants are carefully selected, mentored and trained to work with you and to try and help and support you rebuild some of your self-esteem and confidence that may have been lost along the way.

We achieve this by simply working with you in a calm, gentle, patient and understanding manner – giving you the time and space you need to manage some of these feelings, whilst receiving some reassuring support by having a companion alongside you.

“Always found them to be very professional, caring & immensely easy to deal with…”

Life itself can be tricky to manage when experiencing these kinds of difficulties, and if you need assistance with shopping, going out, attending appointments, manging administration etc. our PAs can work with you and at your own pace to try to get some of these jobs completed and alleviate some of the stress that can be generated by them!

If you feel you would benefit from getting out and about, our PAs would be more than happy to assist this process by working with you and finding out your interests to help make this happen. Alternatively, you might just want to go out for a coffee, have a chat and relax – in which case our PAs would be more than happy to provide a listening ear and to take it easy alongside you.

If you are interested, please feel free to call us and we would be more than happy to have a no obligation chat and explore how we might be able to help you.

Social Service Referrals

Much of our work in this area is referred from Local Authorities, Social Services and NHS Continuing Care teams – so if you are on Direct Payments or have a Personal Budget, then we are adept and experienced at working with you to manage the budget accordingly and within the guidelines.

A summary of the benefits of Mental Health, Depression & Anxiety support:

  • Carer support can be arranged during the day time, in the evenings and on weekends

  • Our Carers receive appropriate training and are mentored and supervised throughout their work

  • We work in a person centred manner and look to find out in what ways our Carers can help build up your self-esteem if this has been affected by the problems you are experiencing

  • Most importantly we work in a kind, compassionate, gentle, non-judgemental and understanding way – and our Carers are there to be as supportive to you as they can within this manner
